Everyone is born Into the world of Darkness. in that Darkness we find our life and everything that we attributed to that life is found in darkness. On our best day, although we would never admit it, we are still, in fact, are dead unless we are converted we live in darkness. John goes on to say And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. John 3:19 It is no coincidence that most crime is done at night in darkness. where there is no light only evil can appear. We think that we are living in the light and many would dare object to the accusation that they are living it dark but the reality is that men love Darkness and they do not come to the light unless there’s a major change in their normal life. Man feels comfortable living in the Darkness because in that Darkness he has his own god. Not responsible to anybody or accountable to a Triune God. Man it’s simply doing what he wants and while the world turns and he comes across many difficulties in life he strives to make it on his own. He hopes in the midst of tragedy that things will work out. Yet man never thinks for a minute that’s the only reason that’s something that has challenged his life has worked out it’s because God has given him grace and mercy although he does not deserve either.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Romans 1:20-21 God has clearly shown people who live in darkness a way to the light and yet man rejects the very thought of having anybody or anything rule their life. They fail to understand they are not ruling themselves but are under the control of Satan himself. Satan allows mankind to think that they are ruling themselves but in reality, he has them like a puppet on a string. Mankind is fooled and tricked into believing that they are in control of their lives. In the darkness, the unchecked imagination runs wild and crazy things happen when left out of the control of the light.
Jesus is the light and when the light touches the brain there is a reaction that a brain has never seen before. The body becomes alive and it starts to think differently. it starts to comprehend in a whole new way. it’s like you were giving a whole new brain to be able to think. It is something wonderful, hard to explain, and very joyous. it is almost like the cobwebs how are now removed and you are able to think in a manner in which you never thought you could. Every day in the light becomes a new adventure in your life. As the Holy Spirit of God starts to change you from the inside out, you start to discover great and wonderful depths of walking with Jesus. You start to think more of yourself and more of others. You start to love it away that you never thought possible. It is awesome when someone comes to the light.
