God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; psalms 46:1-2
The Strength of God

God is called by refuge by the sons of Torah, a place that is now unmovable by any means. It is a place that is only as strong to withstand any opposition as the person who built it or maintains it. If the refuge is weak, it doesn’t matter how much faith you have, the building is going to collapse. The writer points out that God is not movable nor will be. He is solid and changes not. Our strength varies from day to day, sometimes minute by minute,however, when fear comes or trouble, tears it’s ugly head the God whom we’ve placed our trust in changes not. His refuge is available at all times. The door is always for the believer to walk through. God in his mercy will even woos us. He speaks to us and says”follow me” when challenging times confront us. The righteous can always run into his refuge. His door is always open and he always awaits with open arms those who come to him. The strength of God maintains the refuge. There will never come a time when the refuge will be closed for repairs or will need to be remodeled. It has been built since time began and those who bring a testimony of his greatness will always bring a testimony, being able to say the refuge is always be able to handle whatever comes our way.
It is a preposterous statement on the surface to say though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. What could possible be as mighty as to lift the earth and move it from it’s appointed axis? Who could be so strong as to left buildings and move them on to the believer’s head to crush? God is the only one who has moved what he has created. The strength of God is the only strength that could shift the earth a smidgen. Even the meteorites are subjected to his beckoning word. Nothing ever known or created will be able have the ability to the strength of God. Try as man will to go farther and farther in technology, there is only one who will be able to hold all things together and maintain them.
When you and I go through life’s unpredictable times it is good to know there is no fear that will try to take us down that the strength of God cannot overcome. Have faith and run to the refuge of our soul. always know there is a way of escape for those who are fearful and may suffer from anxiety. Whatever thought will fill our minds God has a remedy, His name is Jesus and his arms are always open to those who are need.
